The short answers.

  • What is degens.now?
    The crypto attention auction. Every token on the board holds its rank by one number: the Degen Points its confirmed bids have earned. No algorithm, no editorial pick, no application form — the leaderboard is simply what people paid to put there.
  • How do I promote my token here?
    Paste the contract address, pick a category, write one line of pitch, and bid. We pull the name, logo, price, market cap and socials straight from the pair, so listing takes about thirty seconds. You do not need to own the token to list it.
  • Can a small bid actually matter?
    That is the whole point. The minimum is $1.00 and cents are allowed above it, so $1.37 is a bid like any other. Every dollar counts toward rank identically — a hundred supporters at $1 outrank a single whale at $99. There is no premium for taking #1 either: rank is strictly the points total, so one cent more than the row above puts you past it. The King of the Hill card names that price directly.
  • What are Degen Points?
    The board's unit. $1 = 100 DP at the base rate, and rank is counted in points rather than dollars. Points are locked in when a bid confirms, so a boost that was live at the time keeps its value forever instead of being re-priced later. The dollar figure stays visible everywhere as the thing you actually paid, and the two are shown separately — we never quote a payment as if it were points.
  • What are boosts?
    Multipliers on the points a bid earns. Four are live today, more are coming, and they combine — which is why none of them is large:
    • Streak — bid at least $10 in a day, on consecutive days. Your total for that day counts, so three $4 bids qualify the same as one $12 bid. Two days 1.05x, three 1.10x, five 1.15x, seven or more 1.25x. Miss a day and it resets.
    • Underdog — bids on listings outside the top 10 earn 1.15x, outside the top 25 earn 1.20x.
    • Rally — the more different wallets put $3 or more into a token within 24 hours, the more every bid on it earns: 5 wallets 1.10x, 15 wallets 1.20x, 30 or more 1.25x.
    • Whale — the size of the bid itself: $50 earns 1.20x, $100 earns 1.25x, $250 or more earns 1.50x. Nothing to qualify for and nothing to keep up — it applies the moment the amount clears a tier, and it does not carry over to the next bid.
    Streak and rally have a floor because both count wallets, and wallets are free to create — without one a streak would be a one-cent cron job and a rally would be one person with thirty addresses. Rally asks $3 in a single bid, streak asks $10 as your total for the day. Those floors decide whether you earn a boost, never whether you benefit from one: once a boost is live, every further bid you place is multiplied, the $1 ones included. Whale works the other way round by design — it is a property of one bid, so it neither carries over nor needs qualifying for.They multiply each other rather than adding up: a 1.1x rally with a 1.1x streak and a 1.2x underdog is 1.1 × 1.1 × 1.2 = 1.45x, and a $250 whale bid on top of that would make it 1.45 × 1.5 = 2.18x. Underdog is automatic — every listing from #11 down earns 1.15x, and from #26 down 1.20x, with no action needed. The rate shown is always what the next bid would earn, never an average of what earlier bids got.Two of them depend on the token, so the ⚡ button on every row shows what is live on that listing right now. There is no ceiling on the combined rate — it is simply the product, which is exactly why each single boost is kept small and why more of them can be added later. Whatever was active when your bid confirmed is locked in permanently: a later change never re-prices a past bid.
  • Do I keep #1 forever?
    No — and not even by bidding again. Every listing loses 5% of its points every day, and a new bid does not restore what has already gone: it adds on top of what is left. Ten quiet days cost about 40%, a month costs nearly 80%. Below 50 points a listing goes inactive and drops off the board entirely.Decay works per bid, not per listing: each bid fades from its own day, so a fresh bid arrives at full value while older ones keep falling. That is why the board answers "who is backed right now" rather than "who paid once".
  • How are King of the Hill and Trending picked?
    King of the Hill is simply the current #1, with how long it has held the spot and what it would cost to take it. Trending is a different question and a different answer: USD bid in the last 3 hours × 24h DEX volume. A token only trends when the board and the market are both moving, so a big bid on something nobody is trading will not carry it, and neither will volume with no bids behind it.
  • Are bids refundable?
    No. Bids are non-refundable promotional payments, not investments or deposits. You are buying a position on a public leaderboard, nothing else. Half of paid bids and collected swap fees is committed to buying back and burning the project token. CREDIT, SWAP and ADMIN bid rows do not increase that commitment. The flame shows the full USD commitment; its details separate what has already burned from what remains queued.
  • Is it verifiable?
    Yes. Every confirmed bid is an on-chain payment, and the activity tape links each one to the block explorer for its chain. Points are the payment times whatever boost was live at confirm time, both shown separately on the token page, so you can check the arithmetic yourself. Market data comes from the token's own DEX pair, and the launchpad seals are derived from that pair's data rather than self-reported by the lister.
  • What do the badges mean?
    They are indicators, not guarantees, and never a recommendation to buy. Every one of them describes what was true at the moment it was checked. A token that passes every check can still rug five minutes later. Nothing here replaces your own research.
    • Verified (gold) — a human operator reviewed the listing and vouched for it.
    • Checked (blue) — automated checks passed. Only runs once a listing has taken at least $10 in bids, so it cannot be farmed.
    • New (orange, alert) — market cap is under $25,000. Small and early, treat with extra caution.
    • Launch platform— Pump.fun, LetsBONK.fun, Four.meme, Clanker and others, read from the pair's own DEX data rather than self-reported.
    No badge means unknown, not bad. Where we cannot establish something with confidence, we show nothing rather than guess.
  • What exactly does the automated check look at?
    Four things: liquidity is at least 2% of market cap and over $5,000; market cap clears $25,000; and on Solana, that the mint authority and freeze authority are both revoked — the two powers that would let an issuer inflate supply or freeze your tokens so you cannot sell. It also flags when a single non-pool wallet holds more than 20% of supply.On EVM chains the sell-restriction check needs transaction simulation we have not wired up yet, so EVM listings cannot earn a blue badge automatically — they need a manual review. We would rather show no badge than a badge that means less than it appears to.
  • What is Today versus All-Time?
    All-Time is the cumulative board and never resets on its own. Today is a rolling window of the last 24 hours, recalculated continuously — not a calendar day. Weekly decay applies only to All-Time; Today always shows real money taken in that window.
  • What do Online, Visitors, Visits and Clicks mean?
    Online is how many people were active in the last five minutes. Visitors counts distinct people ever; Visits counts page views, so one person who comes back every day and reads five tokens is one visitor and many visits. Clicks sent is how many times someone opened a listed token — its page here or its chart out on the DEX. Nothing is deduplicated: every press counts, and so does every page view.None of it needs an account and none of it stores your IP address: visitors are counted by a salted hash that cannot be turned back into who you are.
